Zaska live at Down with Jazz 2012

“Groove” is a mixture of the energetic funky spirit of 70’s band “Sly and the family stone” together with an R’n’B/hip hop sound similar to that found in 90’s group “A Tribe Called Quest”.

To this melting pot Max adds his own wealth of humour and positive vibe making his compositions/arrangements the perfect vehicle to express his energetic personality.

Backed up with a band comprised of some of Ireland’s most prominent young musicians, live shows are a supernova of positive energy that is the perfect cure for the current “recession” blues.

Live at DWJ Festival the 26th August 2012. It is a new Irish Festival showcasing the best Artists in Ireland and organized by the Improvised Music Company.

Max Zaska’s Groove Live at DWJ Festival 2012 at The Meeting House Square in Temple Bar, featuring Max Zaska on Guitar and Voice, Karen Cowley and Andrew Hozier-Byrne on Vocals, Johnny Taylor on Keyboard, Chris Engel and Sam Comerford on Saxes, Kevin Higgins on Electric Bass, Phil Staunton on Drums.
